Not fun...
I went to the ER really really early morning on Wednesday, about 1:30 am. When I got up Tuesday, I had this severe pain in my lower left abdomen near the pelvis. I thought maybe I slept on my hip wrong or something, but it never went away, in fact it got worse through the day. So when Corey got home from work, we decided to go to the ER. I got to the hospital, got all IV'ed up, blood taken and waited a while. It hurt to walk, to laugh, to cough and my pelvis was really tender. I knew it wasn't my appendix, since it was the wrong side, so I was a little concerned. I had talked to my mom on the phone before I went and she thought I might have a cyst on my ovaries. I got a pelvic exam at the hospital, and it looks like the results came back positive for a cyst. We weren't able to do an unltrasound yet, oddly enough, the hospital didnt have one available. But I have one scheduled for later today. Not really looking forward to it since its the kind where you have to drink one quart of water and somehow hold it all in as they press down on your bladder. I had it once... it sucks! They did dope me up on some morphine though. Boy was that an experiance, I got rather loopy for a while. Its been about a day since then, and Im starting to hurt again and of course I can't sleep even though I gotta get up in 4 hours for the ultrasound. Bleh.
