A lonely rolling star *

I'm really not a lonely star, it's a lyric from this cute Japanese song in that Katamari Damacy game. I played a bit today and it never seems to get old. It's so much fun seeing how much crap you can roll up into a ball; it's therapeutic, too. Similar to how shooting pixelated people and smashing stuff in Grand Theft Auto can relieve stress, but this other game isn't nearly as violent. People scream when you pick them up, that's about it.

I still have the flu, but it's been downgraded to "cold" status on the scale of intensity. As long as I have a box of tissues, I'm A-OK. That aside, I've had a pretty good week. I heard back on two of the jobs I applied for, one of which is a sweet-sounding job at NASA. I SO want that job...which pretty much means I won't get it. ;-) Well, I'm working at it. I went back to work at the library on Wednesday and it went well. I sort of predicted this, but I don't think Mrs. D was too happy that I showed up. It seemed like she was looking at me like I was some sort of leper. Kind of the same story today, though she did mention that nobody had caught it yet. Well, of course not in one day, Yanni! <--- new code name. I guess she'd rather have me miss an entire week, but since I don't get paid sick days, I must work. Everyone else was nice about it, though. I had my evaluation today and I did pretty well, the same as last year. I can't really get any better or worse at this point, so evaluations have been kind of redundant.

I know I'm forgetting lots of stuff, but here's a little quiz to make up for it:
