Sunday
Flew in with no trouble, had the Magical Express take us to our room at the All Star Sports Resort. We went straight to Magic Kingdom where we stayed till late.
Monday
Went back to Magic Kingdom for the day. We rode literally everything in the park except the train & astro orbiter (which we never ended up doing), but yes we did do the Country Bear Jamboree and the Hall of Presidents and the Tiki Room. We did everything! Actually that day Charlie got the highest score possible on the Buzz Lightyear ride which is pretty impossible so he was really excited about that.
That night we had tickets to the Very Merry Christmas party which meant we got to see the Christmas parade, the Christmas fireworks, two performances with Mickey & the other characters, and we got free cookies & hot chocolate. We were in the park till midnight so we were completely exhausted!
Tuesday
Got up early and had breakfast at Chef Mickey's in the Contemperary Resort. OH-MY-GOD. The food was incredible. I had the best scrambled eggs of my life. It's a breakfast buffet and since that's my favorite meal of the day I went over board. And the characters come around and take pictures with you. When Mickey walked up he got down on one knee and took my hand in his. It was hilarious! Then Charlie walked up for a picture and said "I hope Minnie didn't see that." to which Mickey made the finger over the mouth "sshhh" motion. When he walked away he turned around and gave me the "call me" sign. lol hilarious!
After breakfast we went to Epcot where we had lunch at the Coral Reef Restaurant. I was too full to eat, but Charlie had something really good. The atmosphere was awesome though. A big sea turtle came right against the glass. At the end of the day we went to MGM and did a few rides before finishing the night with Fantasmic. We went to Downtown Disney that night too for some Ghiradelli.
Wednesday
We spent the entire day in Animal Kingdom which is probably my second favorite park. Rode Expedition Everest about four times before we decided we were sick of it. It's a fun ride, but it messes with your head if you ride it too much or sit in the back.
Thursday
By this time we were exhausted so we had a low key day. We had lunch at the ESPN club on the Boardwalk, then we played mini golf and the Winter Summerland golf course. So cute! After that we saw ICE! at the Gaylord Palms Hotel. It was a traveling ice sculpture exibit from China. It was about 6 rooms and they keep it 8 degrees so you have to wear pants and parkas or you can't get in. It was so freaking cold you could touch the ice and nothing would happen! The last room was three slides made entirely of ice that you could slide down. The pictures on facebook will explain more! But incredible!
Friday
Did some MGM and some Epcot, ended the night with dinner at Biergarten (you're right, Sarah, it was so good!) and then VIP seating for the Candlight Processional where they have a celebrity read the Christmas Story inbetween a huge choir singing Christmas songs. The celebrity that night.... Kirk Cameron That's right, Mike Sever. :) I've got lots of pics. Charlie and I spent the rest of the night trying to remember all the Sever's names. We forgot Maggie.
Saturday
Tried to hit up all the parks in one day. Craziness! That was the start of people showing up in the parks for Christmas break so it was packed. You get spoiled when you go at the slow time that you aren't willing to wait in a 30 minute line.
