Craziness
So, yeah, my weekend was madness... fun madness, but mad nonetheless.
I drove up to New Hampshire and saw Obama speak on Saturday. :) I brought my friend Timmo with me and we enjoyed a good old-fashioned rally. It really was kind of cool. Neither of us had ever been to a Rally before, and it does have a unique sort of energy. And we almost got close enough to Obama to shake his hand, which is kind of cool.
Then, Saturday night was a crazy birthday party for my friend Vic. Probably would have been more fun if I wasn't freaking exhausted, but it was still a good time.
Sunday was spent driving all over creation. I went to King Richard's Faire with my free tickets, woo hoo! It was kind of rainy, and we got there rather late, but I did get to catch a few shows and see some old friends. I also went into the maze for the first time ever, for free, since I now know the guy who mans it. Yay for perks! Ren Faires are a little more affordable when you know people.
Unfortunately, though, I think I'm more sick than I was before, and I'm still hassling to get my health insurance going... I wouldn't care so much if I didn't have an ear infection. Hopefully it will all be straightened out tomorrow... Such is life.
