Oi.
Well, so things are about to change in a major way around my house.
Jason leaves tomorrow to head to Austin to start his new job. He's kinda mopey today, but is currently out playing one more game of Warhammer with the guys before he goes. Sometimes he seems really excited about the whole thing. Other times he doesn't seem excited at all and seems to almost wish he WASN'T going, but it's a really awesome opportunity for him. He'll find out whether or not we're going to sign the lease on the new apartment probably on Friday night. I'm looking forward to pictures cause the floorplan looks really cool... but won't know for sure until he takes the pics. Then again, he may not take the apartment at all if the commute time is too long. I guess we'll see.
In the meantime, though, after he goes and before I move, I have something to do. Still not working... but... I AM going back to school. Sorta. I've got my first course so I can get my associate's online... then can decide later if I want to grab my bachelor's or not. But it's at least a step in the right direction. I hate that I'm losing my music outlets... not doing civic chorus this spring cause I'd have to leave well before the concert and I'll only be here for one more Singing Women concert (even though there is a San Antonio chapter), but still... it's kinda hard. Jason makes friends so much easier than I do... and I... well... I'm losing the two things that let me get out and do stuff. He says he feels really really badly about that.... but not badly enough to turn down $45/hr. Would be kinda stupid of him to do that. Ah well. I'll manage somehow.
Maybe I'll start selling candles in my spare time... nah.
Anyway... I need to get my butt in gear and get another graphic done and then curl up with the intro to business thing so I can get my first lesson done and off in the mail.
