Minna San,

Akemashite Omedetou!
Happy New Year!
Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegaishimasu ^_^

I've actually tried a little bit of HTLM for this entry...its been a while since I've used it so I had to reach for my trusty book (in full colour no less ^o^) I could only remember how to do the REALLY basic stuff *sigh* Knowledge falls out of heads soo easily doesn't it :P

Anyway, enough of that.

Hopefully everyone had a good Christmas. Mine included such impressive sights as exploding crackers and flying pens and mini playing cards. The crackers we had this year did just go pop, noooooo they went *BANG!* and alllll of their contents flew far and wide! The mini playing cards inside one of the crackers flew out of their box as well. It was an impressive sight. Playing cards falling from the sky, bits of cracker around the place. ^____________^ That made dinner memorable!

David also taught me "Hello Jack" card game....thing is it was toooooooooo much to remember for me. When you see a Jack you say "hello Jack", when you see a Queen you put you hand on you heart, when you see a King you salute and when you see an Ace you jump up. So what happens? A court card appears and I end up saying "hello Ja-, ooo no no no", hand on heart, nope sulute while jumping up! I lost. Consecutively. *sob*

After Christmas it was Dad's birthday (tho by this time not-so-baby brother was already off to Denmark for New Year's). We went to the Kent and East Sussex railway for that. A full sized steam railway with old carriages that runs from Tenterden to Bodiam Castle. (If you haven't been then that's a castle that tends to pop up on TV from time to time. The last program I saw it on was 'What the Ancients Did For Us' I think........possibly O_o Anyway).

On the way back from Bodiam we went in the oooooooooooooooold carriage. Probably 100 years old. It was lovely inside, with wood everywhere and comfy seats, and was split up into sections so we had what seemed like a mini compartment to ourselves ^_^ (There are advantages to going in winter - bet you have to share in summer) Then the train started. It wasn't uncomfortable but wow it rattled! I can understand why people used to find trains scary when they first appeared if they all made that much noise at only 25mph!! It was great though ^_^ (YEY chuu chuu train! :P)

Haven't been up to much else really.... But then it is only the 2nd.

Oh, and in case you're wondering how I saw the new year in...I slept :P

Start as you mean to go on!
