So Not Good
Just about asleep last night after a day of running ,last minute shopping, cake baking, going to cake decorating class,cleaning kitchen left by men on their own for dinner and was drifting away to the sounds of someone looking for a house in Texas...zzzzzzz
When Lo,the Emergency Broadcast System Alarm sounded off. I had forgotten how truly horrendous that sound is.
Announcing a Tsunami alert for the coastal areas of AK off the devastating 8.8 Sendai Earthquake. We are never sure if this can effect us as we live on an Inlet and it has be speculated a wave could come down but (it would have to be massive) it seems we are far enough inland to be clear although in a creak valley.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected and their families.
