"You were a big fish in a small pond, but this here is the ocean and your drownin'. Take my advice, go back to puddleville, you'll be happy there"
highschool was interesting stuf, knowing everyone, everyone knowing about you.
i like big fish in small pond idea instead of anything else. probly why i love the Y so much, knowing everyone, walking in the door and hearing a bunch of little kids yell "HEATHER!!!!" or MISS HEATHER!!! i love having been the second level 9 in y history. i love working there. i love cheer factor "have you ever seen stick it?" "no" "those girls were just like heather!! she could be one of themm!" the gymnastics, the tumbling, the kids recognizing you, telling you about their life, asking about yours, telling you that they only trust you not the other teachers to spot them. bridgewater cheering, coach loves me a bit much, even at full house, my random ass gymnastics tricks make people remember me.
yes its bragging and in no way humble, my point is just that i enjoy being a big fish in a small pond better than the alternative. i like smaller groups, i like my jobs, and i like the place im at in life right now.
point of the essay, i like that quote from Big Fish just as much as I like the movie :) figure id offer some food for thought
