(no subject)
Actual update time. Even though I should be doing work, but technically, my meeting with Professor Dooley isn't for another 2 hours and 45 minutes, and that's plenty of time to both update my LiveJournal and figure out how the C4.5 program works so I can implement it in my research this week.
Even more technically, I probably should have done that last night, but instead watched I &hart; Huckabees instead. Anyone seen this movie? It was weird. Like, funny, but in a "we're trying to be deep, but know you won't really get it so we'll just gloss over the philisophical parts with really funny bits in the next scene" kinda way. Worth watching, but I really recommend it as just a comedy. Really, I think the most interesting part was that I seriously wanted to yell "Just Make Out Already!!" every 5 minutes or so. Did they mean for the main character to have this insane chemistry with every other male member of the cast? I love Naomi Watts, and think she was very cute and funny and a terrific actress, but in no way whatsoever did the sexual tension in this film revolve around her. Furthermore, Lily Tomlin and Dustin Hoffman and the french lady got really annoying about 3/4 way through, so I pretty much just watched it for Marky-Mark and Jude Law and Jason Shwartzman. Who may be my new OT3.
Moving on, there's supposed to be some shindig at Cellar Pizza tonight (wich melliot pimped to you last week) which I'm kinda looking forward to. It's just the Knox summer people, but I really don't get out much, lately. I think I may combust when school starts again and I have to actually be social. Anyway, I'd go just for the breadsticks. Dem fine breadsticks, as Uncle Andrew would say.
