I've had a rather enjoyable two days.
Yesterday I went to participate in an IMPACT demonstaration for the *recalls long winded name* "Forum of traditional martial arts styles". Or something like that. Anywho, it was four Muggers and three Whistle-like people who came to demonstrate IMPACT for this forum of martial artists, most of them teachers or heads of dojos (and most of them men), to get them interested in the course and have them invite us to give courses in their areas. As os usual with any IMPACT meeting I go to, I had a lot of fun. I enjoyed the teaching/demoing, but what I personally thought was the coolest thing, was that we had a line of 25 men yelling 'No!' I just thought that was the coolest thing. *smile* It sounded way different...
Today I had a lot of fun with three different groups of people. I had lunch, and hung out with Abi, Keren, Rose and (after a while) Naomi. I enjoyed going back to my hobby of annoying people with singing random Broadway songs. I've missed that quirk of mine, it hasn't come to me in a long time... Then I visited some girls from Naomi and Abi's grade, whom I love to bits, who were having a Shabbat over at a friend's in Rehovot. I saw some girls whom I haven't seen in a real long time and I enjoyed catching up with them. After that, I waltzed over to Dee's were she was having her friends and their assorted Significant Others over for Shabbat. *smile* I like Dee's friends. They're a fun, boisterous, bunch who are very accepting of new people. Good qualities all. I especially had a good time reading Yiddish with Dick and Jane with Yael and Frida and then watching Naomi and Menucha read it together and watching their scandalized expressions as they progressed in it. *grin* What fun!
