Deaths In The Family
This has been a rough week.
First, Kate's grandmother died this past Saturday. The funeral was yesterday.
Second, my ferret Min, whom we had been treating for adrenal disease the past year, had to be put to sleep. She hadn't been eating very well for a while, and I guess she just sort of gave up. When we found her she was laying in her litter box, barely breathing, and not responding to any prompts to eat or drink. She wouldn't even take a raisin from me, and they were her favorite. So we took her to the vet.
I really hope things brighten up over the next week or so, because it's pretty depressing right now.
