Playing Catch Up: Knitting
Made some progress on the knit Dashound for Willipus over the weekend. Its knitting up pretty quickly, when I get some dedicated time for it. Its lots of little pieces that get joined up as I go. I'm part way through its tummy. Then on to its tail, back and collar. And its bone, Willipus is very insistent he have a bone just like in the pictures.
Here is the finished experimental v-neck sweater finally knit up. Its a touch short in the arms for Willipus, and I'm not thrilled with how the ribbing on the neck came out. Overall it was a great leaning experience. And Willipus is quite smitten with it. Wait till he sees what I have planned for his birthday, hehehe =)
The Pleated Purse I started a couple of months ago has been sadly neglected. It got over felted and is much smaller than I'd like.
Just to show how over felted it got, these are the button holes. Before felting I could get my finger through them.
I don't have buttons small enough for those tiny holes. I'll have to dig through the stash for some snaps. I subbed in an i-cord instead of chain for the strap. I've got some little shells I might set up as charms. I still need to line it as well. As it stands its too small for my wallet =(
