Nutmeg makes me crazy!
A couple of weeks ago I started trying to spin the nutmeg coridale to go with the toffee I'd finished. It hasn't been going to good. It kept breaking on me, for no reason I could identify, it broke about every 2min. I'd just get things spliced and going and it would come apart further up. This lead to to some very short and very frustrating spinning sessions. Last night I couldn't take it anymore and just ripped what little of it I had off the wheel.
It doesn't look like much but there is a couple of weeks of frustration. Looking at the 2 tiny skeins (because it broke AGAIN as I was winding it from the wheel) it looks nice and even. If only it would stay together. Krotious put on the first season of Scrubs and I started over. 4 Episodes later this is what I have.
Its more than I had managed to spin in the last couple of weeks. Its pretty over-spun but I wasn't taking any chances that it would break on me again, and it didn't. I'm a much happier spinner right now. I'm looking forward to it again.
And now Mr. Fussypants awakes from his sadly short nap, whee!
