As usual I didn't manage to get pics of everything before knitting. Fortunately I know where they all live. With the holiday rush over hopefully I track them down for pics before bebe No. 2 arrives next month. Without further ado...
A Dino Hat for Lil'Leo
Patter:
Dino Cap by Kris HansonYarn: Cascade 220 from stash.
This was a quick knit despite all the dino plates. The earflaps and band are doubled so that its extra warm.
Bella Mittens for Acidtrix
Pattern:
Bella's MIttensYarn: Biggs and Little mystery yarn from stash, came in a bag of handmedown yarn.
No I'm not a Twilight fan, but before they were labled "Bella's" mittens someone knit these up and the costume department put them on what's-her-face. Otherwise these were a good knit, the horseshoe cable was easy to memorize, and I was able to knit them up over a couple of weeks worth of lunch hours.
Zombie Bunny Feltie for Acidtrix
Pattern: Zombie Felties by Nicola Tedman & Sarah Skeate
Supplies: Acrylic felt, embroidery floss, cotton tread, buttons, beads and a tiny amount of polyfil.
I love these felties. They are instant gratification. Each one takes only 2-3 hours (and then only that long because the fabric glue needs to try). Its about 3" tall. I attached a little broach clasp to the back to make it "functional."
Side Slip Cloche for Zenchild
Pattern:
Side Slip ClocheYarn: Berroco something-something with metallic fiber
I've misplaced the tag for the yarn but it was a great colour with just the right amount of sparkle. A set of finger-less gloves were made to go with it which went unphotographed. Pattern was well written and knit up quickly.
