I figured since it was William's first Halloween I should make his costume. Despite having the materials on-hand for almost a month I didn't start cutting and sewing until about 2 days before Halloween. This is the 2nd time I've used a pattern, and the first time I did it all on my own, with the exception of one call to my mom anyways.
Its McCall's M6181, made of arctic fleece and felt embellishments. I need to go back and undersew the top edge of the hood so that the lining doesn't peek out. I made it in a size 2 so that he could wear it over this little snow suit, but in the end we didn't keep it on him to give out candy, as the trick-or-treaters started later than expected.
I had planned to dress as a lion tamer, but its not really recognize-able. Something to work on for next year.
