Bargaining with Dorian didn't work out very well.

Once you get used to this city, it becomes pretty boring.

[Ev, you know that entire convo is 'deleted', because Light's figured the truth thing out D8. Pretend. Like Ninjas]

EDIT: UNLOCKED FOR ERU

It is, isn't it? It's not anywhere near as scary as the last place I was trapped, even with those underground monsters.

I'm sorry the bargaining didn't work well. I was thinking of trying that myself.

It's not a large city either. Where were you before this?

I heard Dorian only has temporary ways out. I'm trying to find something permanent. Thank you, though.

I was in...it's hard to explain. It was another world entirely, but it was also my apartment. I was trapped, and when I was let out, it was only to watch people get killed. It was really horrible.

That's right, that's what I've heard, too. I'm not looking for a way out, though....I'd just rather not remember watching people die. If she takes memories, I'm hoping she might take those. They're about all I have.

I'm really sorry to hear that. You couldn't contact the police?

I heard you can trade memories for other things too. You could trade those memories, and get something in return.

No, I couldn't reach anyone. I could see everything, but...no one could see me or hear me. I was cut off.

Really? That's not a bad idea. I don't know what I'd ask for, but it really doesn't matter much.

Who kept you there?

You'd benefit even more than others. You could get rid of memories you don't want, and recieve something in exchange.

A man named Walter Sullivan, although by the time he got to me he was more of a ghost than a man. He was finishing a ritual to wake up his 'mother'...I was the last part of it.

Was this ritual the '21 sacraments' you mentioned before?

Is he here?

Yeah, that's it. He sacrificed 21 people, one of which was himself.

He's not here, thank God. I think I see him sometimes, but...I'm kind of paranoid about it. He wears a blue coat that's a really weird length; so he's easy to pick out, if he does show up.

I'll never understand religious cults and their need for sacrifices.

I didn't get it, either. He seemed to be trying to teach me, but...god, I hope I never do.

Teach your the need for sacrifice, or something else?

I'm not sure why it was...but the last one sacrificed is given the title the "Receiver of Wisdom". So everything he put me through...it was like he was trying to teach me what he was doing and why. It was...there aren't words, really.
