Sisyphus & the giant pile of old paper

Finally, five minutes to stop working. Ive literally been working alone at home for 10-12 hours a day for the last five days, with hardly even a minute to eat shit or go outside. This is how it always is now, especially the first week after I buy another months worth of books to sell, they have to be "shagged bagged and tagged"-meaning examined, graded, put in bags, sorted and separated, and thats all before I even get to typing, correcting & recorrecting the endless megabytes of text and HTML needed to post the things online.

So I finally finished this weeks batch tonight at 11 pm after working almost nonstop since my last entry Sunday night, even so I still had dozens of glaring errors in my listings which in some cases I couldnt even fix because my books were so hot people bid on them right in the first 5 minutes and then I couldnt edit the listings.

Meanwhile, Im still waiting for more than half of what I made last week, about $250 from a single buyer who decided buying up everything then sending a late check would be a fun thing to do, completely fucking up my budget. So tomorrow, when I need to break out the most, Ill still be broke after working nonstop/being broke all week already, with the weather forecasting afternoon showers, making much needed external excursions cold wet and lame as well as penniless. But I refuse to even think about old books for at least 24 hours.

Sometimes it seems no matter what strategies I try, no matter how hard I work, I still cant always get what I need when I need it.

Stupid human condition. I guess Ill reap more profit next week...
