Annabelle and Connor are lying in bed, comfortable, relaxed and sharing secrets and moments of their lives in low voices. For the past half hour or so, they've been discussing Annabelle's rather...unusual and sometimes complicated relationship with Tanya.

Connor listens, then gives a low teasing chuckle, kissing his girlfriend's head. "You realize, she wants to shag you, right?"

"Well, yes," Annabelle replies, with a surprised blink. "She's made that kind of....why are you laughing?"

"And you still doubt you are attractive... or how the americans say, 'smoking hot'..."

"It's not that I don't think I'm attractive," Annabelle says with a shake of her head. "It's just..." Her track record before Milliways was really bad where quality was concerned.

"I'm not used to people being interested in me that way, not really," she admits. She's had slews of men who wanted her for status reasons, for her body, for the person they believed her to be. There weren't many that wanted the actual person in that body and behind what they might have heard.
