Avocado Shake:
I made one tonight since I hadn't had very many veggies to eat today.
I used an avocado, a handful of almonds, 2-3 cups of spinach and some vanilla yogurt. You could use milk or kefir instead of the yogurt. Most of the recipes I saw were avocado and milk or condensed milk. Some had coffee added in, which sounds delicious. I'm trying to make it more nutritious, though.
It came out VERY green and creamy. The taste at first is very different, but not unpleasant at all. Not sure what to make of it at first but it is very creamy and actually quite good. I like that I can add a big dose of greens in and it still tastes good.
I'd like to try something like:
Avocado
Almonds
Yogurt, Kefir, Milk or Cream
Coffee
Spinach
1/2C Oatmeal?
Coconut Oil or Flakes?
Nutmeg or Cinnamon?
