Damn... what is going on in my life? Not only is my brain broken, but a few days ago a found a crack in one of my glasses. Then a few days ago a found a strange bump on the back of my head (and it's still there). Then this morning I discovered a crack in the bottom of my coffee pot. No more real coffee until I buy a whole new coffee maker. And I just tried to put my new duvet cover and sheets on my bed, only to find that because I can't read the packages, I bought two duvet covers (and one was $650, which was the price of the sheets I bought before so I thought they were sheets). Now I have three duvet covers and one set of sheets. I can't bring anything ELSE back to that store. They're already pissed off enough at me for returning two sets of speakers. So I'm stuck with an expensive, boring, gold duvet cover AND I have to go find some more sheets tonight. Damn it! My life is so dumb lately. Considering taking a long walk off a short pier.
Duran Duran were one of the first groups to gain international success based on the popularity of their videos and might somehow seem like a bit of a boyband and too mainstream because of this. However, they did write their own music, and this song is one of their best works (in my opinion), which proves that they were (are?) much more than just a bunch of pretty boys running around in their underwear on the beach.
