(no subject)
Just got my computer desk yesterday. $30 bucks at Staples. I was going to get this black computer armiore but space was an issue, plays it was like 90 bucks at wal-mart. Tempted to see what else was available, I went to staples and found a smaller desk tat would fit in my room.
^_^ I'll finally have my place of solitutde to work!
I'm going to use it as a recording center, a place to write, and to work on my next hobby... drawing ^_^
I can't really draw all that well, but I keep seeing these awesome visions in my head that I wish I could draw. I'll work my way up to it so maybe someday I can illustrate as well as write books. But if I find that I simply can't draw, then oh well. I'll just have to hire an illustrator then.
As far as writing, I thought about what I want to be known for if I ever make it. I'd like to publish atleast one book in each genre. Right now, I even have ideas for a philosophical piece. Though, I think my ideas may have all ready been done. The whole theory of relativity explained by Einstien goes along the lines of some of my ideas. So, perhaps that idea is foiled. I'll read up on his works to see if the ideas are similar or not.
Or maybe I'll be the next J.R. Tolkein. Except of Sci-fi more than fantasy. Combining the elements of all genres into one huge epic is my goal. It'll probably take a lifetime to make one, especially at my pace. lol.
I'm skeptic whether The Last Aeon will take me anywhere. As soon as I get some other crap done and off my mind, I'll be working on something new.
I do believe these eyes are dead
I don't feel like I'm living
caught in the fears of what lies ahead
Standing on the Edge of Forever
Living down this predecided fate
Wondering if I'd ever
Earn back my perspective
Give me the balm for my eyes
And remember how to live
