It is hard to look at all the pretty beads and not buy any. I was doing good until I picked up a bead similar to the one in this necklace. It looks like it contains the universe with multiple galaxies. After seeing the necklace I also picked up the four small beads to go with the long cylindrical one. I will have my family beader make me a necklace and earrings.
The artist is from Janesville and will be at the Madison Bead Show in March and also at the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee this June.
After touring a building and two large tents filled with various bead vendors we had eye fatigue. We saw lampwork beads, dichroic glass beads, furnace glass beads, polymer clay beads, glass sculptures, and each artists work showed amazing versatility and creativity.
Tonight we went to Miss Saigon for dinner. I had Shrimp with coconut currry sauce over rice, Dick had sliced pork with greens over vermicelli and we both ha spring rolls. We really enjoyed the meal especially the spring rolls. I had Mango Snow without anything extra and Wayfinder had Tangerine Snow with tapioca. I think he will stop ordering the tapioca as it kept hitting his windpipe and made him cough. Snows are like slushies with cream.
