Recovery
I am amazed at how much more I can do today. I walked out in the hall for the first time. I am moving to a rehab facility which sounds pleasant. Perhaps I can take pictures. I still fall asleep every chance I get although I slept better last night and went back to sleep after the early morning blood draw.
I wrote the above Friday. Today I am in LaRosa Health Care which is a skilled nursing facility for more rehab. I am able to do more each day. Yesterday and this morning they wheeled me to the dinning room where I had to stay in the wheel chair. After a few minutes knee became quite painful so I decided to find out if I could walk as far as the dining room so I could sit in a regular chair. I did well at walking but sitting in a regular chair still was painful. Something to work on I guess. I just woke up from a nap it seems I need a nap after every period of exertion.
I am a youngster here. Some have been here a couple if years. Two of my lunch companions are recovering from strokes. There are several people who make repetitive statements and a few moaners. I had to laugh at the ones who ask to 'get me out of here' when they just got there.
As I suspected no wifi so I am taping this out one letter at a time on my iPhone.
