Just got back from my first overnight trip in over two years. I drove up to Phoenix on Saturday to go to the Chihuly glass exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden with my sister, Mom, cousin, and nephew. I forgot my camera and only had my iPhone to take pictures with. I couldn't see the screen so had to guess if I had the sculpture in view. I cut the top off several but a couple turned out pretty good. I want to go back and take my best camera. I spent the rest of the weekend at my sister's place.
We went to see Coraline in 3D Sunday morning. The movie theater was about 3/4 full. I found out later that both my son and daughter's families saw Coraline last weekend also. No real surprise as we all like to see animation. Both son and daughter are big anime fans also.
I plan on going to Wisconsin in April and am still debating with myself about whether to drive or fly. If I fly I would have to rent a car. After checking prices of rental cars and flights I think the cost of the trip would be about the same. I have to crunch a few more numbers before I decide.
