My lj name...hm, that's an embarrassing story. I have another internet identity in a different fandom, and when I decided to branch out to other fandoms, I took on this new name. Except that I screwed it up. I thought I'd be clever (which I utterly fail at) and take on the Greek word for "unknown one" or "mysterious one", which happens to be ainissesthai--and for some weird reason, I screwed up the spelling. Didn't realize it until it was too late, and I'd already posted a couple of stories.
It also gives the impression that I'm Thai, which, unfortunately, I am not, but I do have Asian blood. Just not Thai. ^^

I just didn't explain myself well enough. For ease of use, I sometimes break up my LJ handle into two parts: Aenisses Thai. It's when I do that that the mixup occurs with people thinking I have something to do with Thailand--completely my fault, of course.
By the way, you mentioned earlier that aenissesthai was a verb-could you please tell me which verb? Just curious! Thanks!
