paper fetish

i need lined college rule paper, there's something about the texture and the way the pencil graphite moves on it. i ran out recently and my sketches are struggling on computer paper. i used to keep a sketchbook, i love bristol but there are only so many pages per book, it puts too much pressure on each drawing to be something good. with lined paper, you get 250 or 350 sheets so they don't all have to be great and there's no pressure or concerns over crumbling and trying to make it in the waste basket from your bedside. even though i do keep another sketchbook, it's only for tiny ideas or boredom fun drawings, nothing serious and hardly anyone has seen it, it's not private, and it doesn't bother me if people flip through it. when people would look at my old sketchbooks i would want to grab it and pull pages but i would only have 4 or 5 pages per book, so now i keep my doodles and failed or badly drawn ideas seperate from my actual, final drawings that i use as my template for the construction paper things.

that was too much maybe. the simple point is i need more lined paper.

i have a terrible habit of turning tiny things into long drawn-out explainations and i think sometimes people mistake that having insight or interesting information. it only happens when i write though,in real life i'm actually very straight-forward if i can manage to gather my thoughts into understandable sentences.

what a narcisistic entry.
