So I was doing a "call for change" thing with www.moveon.org where they give you phone numbers of progressive voters who didn't vote in the midterm. You call them up and talk with them and see if you can remind them to vote.
And people can be so rude! Even when they knew I wasn't fundraising, they still didn't treat me like a person. Lots hung up, lots of "we're busy"
But there was this one old lady who was really cheerful and we had an awesome conversation.
I was like, "Well, I am concerned with this election because I feel like the country is going in the wrong direction. I am graduating in a few years and worried about what kind of jobs will be available for me."
and she was like, "well, yes honey. It's hard for young people nowadays."
And there was this other guy who didn't know when he was going to vote so I gave him the location and poling times, and I feel like I might have actually influenced him to go out and vote! That was cool.

In other news I am really getting in to writing letters! so people who have changed their addresses recently like Andrew, and Phoebe and Shanti should send me their physical addresses!

Yah.
