Yule 2007
On the Winter Solstice, Friday night, December 21st, I went to the Web of Oz Yule ritual, it was a lot of fun. We started out with invoking Sunna, Norse Sun Goddess, and then Thor. The ritual went well, at the end our goat passed out the gifts. Then we feasted and talked all night, in the morning we went to the Faerie Mound at Clinton Lake, sang up the sun, accompanied by Amory's drumming, and then one of our members waded into the lake. The temp was above freezing but dropping fast.
We went to First Watch for breakfast, then everyone went home, I drove halfway home and it started raining, but I got home just as the rain turned to sleet. We only got about an inch in Kansas City, but Topeka got 8 inches out of it.
