I love your Buffy voice in this. Fabulous. "Bad Buffy" indeed. *snerk* And Riddick's all rumbly and cryptic and sizing her up. Awesome. :)
Couple of typos:
...searching for any of friends who might have fallen behind. Missing a "her" before "friends," I think.
...breath with what felt like several cracked ribs. Should be "breathe."
