in the meantime, it's snowing like crazy here. we were in a tornado watch last night and now there's 6 inches of snow on the ground. welcome to colorado in the springtime. i love it.
being snowed in is oddly comforting to me. it means a day of running around in my pj's and watching movies, since i never do that these days anyways ;-)well, i watch movies, but usually pj's are absent. :-)
i'm partnering with another neuropathic pain sufferer to write a book about our specific neuropathic pain, the struggles, the "phantom pain," and how much it just fucking sucks. it's so rare that even the specialists don't know too much about it. someone's gotta do the grunt work to try to compile experiences and doctors' knowledge into one volume so that other women don't have to spend the countless hours searching for answers and dealing with all the pain and emotional trauma in the meantime.
maybe that's the reason for all of this--to help others. i'm a "why?" person, so not knowing why fucks with my mind so incredibly much. there's gotta be a reason; it's just up to me to find it.
