Oh thanks! I love it also. I wouldn't mind if I was called Belle as well. Both are great names. :) I am always tempted to just download it but I just want to see it on the big screen. I hope to see it sometime this week or next week anyways so it's all good! I've heard so much about how wonderful the movie is and I just feel so out of it. Also it's really awesome that that you live in New Zealand. I've always wanted to go there on holidays. ;) Shang is a BAMFFF. I really ship Shang and Mulan really badly so I decided to watch Mulan II. I don't know, I was pretty disappointed with the whole plot but I'm glad that they got married in the end. I adore them so much. Cinderella was the reason I am obsessed with Disney. <3 She's just someone who I aspire to be. Mature, kind and headstrong, even when there's adversity in her way. I just love her because of this. I really don't get the hate for her at all. If I have to pick my top three it would be Cinderella, Mulan & The Lion King, though I guess it might change by the time I get to watch Tangled :) I really love Pocahontas though. It's such a beautiful film. Naveen has such a likable personality. If you don't like his looks then you should love him for what he's become. :) Aurora is so so beautiful. I am so envious of her beautiful hair and yeah that voice is amazing. Elegant. I don't get the hate for either. Sad.
Yeah I'm really happy Tangled is doing so well, so much critical acclaim, practically no haters in existence etc, etc. I just wish Princess and the Frog achieved the same success :( Ughhhh I don't like it here that much, personally I prefer Australia. It's really boring here. (I'm probably biased cause I grew up in Sydney...) I ship Mulan/Shang sooo badly! I have a pet name for them lol, "Shulan" LMAO I'm sorry it's so lame but I just love those two. Mulan 2 didn't make much sense to me...Shang seemed like a different person. I don't understand why a person like him would be insulted by being accusing of having bad breath?? It's so petty and un-Shang like. The real Shang wouldn't be phased at all. And the bridge scene with Shang dying was so over dramatic lol. I just couldn't take the sequel seriously. OH BUT I DO. I do like Naveen's looks...very much hahaha :P Yeah honestly the poor princesses get so much hate and controversy. I think Mulan and Belle are the only ones who are fairly safe from it.
I gave up. I'm going to download it. 8D The Princess and The Frog was amazinggg. I hope the response and popularity of the film doesn't stop them from making more 2D animation movies. :( I just came back from Sydney a few days ago. It's so gorgeous and so easy to get around! I didn't know they had trams there. NZ looks amazing though. I just want to see the landscapes they have to offer. :) LOL, awesome. Man I sort of wished I didn't see it and let my imagination complete their story. IKR? Shang wouldn't have reacted the way he did when Mushu started to jeopardise the trip. His vulnerability really softened him. I couldn't believe I actually hated Mushu on this. I don't think he would be that selfish enough to hurt Mulan. Shang's death was wayyyy over dramatic. The sequel was a travesty tbh.
Oh, I'm just saying in general. I didn't mean to direct it at you. I know a couple of people who just don't like him because he's not that good-looking etc. :) He is just so adorable. Yep, Mulan & Belle are pretty much favorites. Though Belle is pretty much loved much more because people seem to relate to her a lot more.
