Salvation Army wouldn't take it because the zippers on the cushions were broken.
The
Reuse Center wouldn't take it because it was a sofa bed.
So, it went to the dump. Sadly, unlike the dump I remember from my youth, there was not a giant cliff off of which you pushed your bulky item to clatter below. You just left it on a concrete pad next to a big old dumpster.
I'm thinking now maybe we should have just taken it home to hack up and/or burn for our housewarming party. Oh well.
