By pretty much complete and total luck, as in being in the right place at the right time with the right friends, I got to go see the Trans Siberian Orchestra with Chandler and a few other friends. It was absolutely amazing! It was their last show of the season, and so they pulled out all the stops: fireworks, fire blasts, dancing with complete and total abandon, throwing their instruments and outer garments into the crowds, etc. The first half of the show was pretty slow, but they played a few songs from their new album, and from then on it was so upbeat. By the time it was over, I was like, what? It's all over?
Our seats were absolutely incredible. Pretty much as close as you could get without being on the floor. No joke. And we sat next to a gay couple. That was fun. :D And also, it is less than twenty degrees outside, and we walked around downtown Nashville for like three hours. When I got the feeling back in my hands, it freaking HURT. But we walked around the Vanderbilt campus and it was getting me really excited, and I was like, I really really REALLY hope I get accepted here.
Well, since the last time I posted in here, I had taken my exams and turned in my final projects for the semester. I am proud to say I pulled all A's. :) Next semester, I am going to CHILL out. At least, I hope. School starts on Tuesday, and I have barely any of my breakwork done. I hope tomorrow is enough time. I suppose it's going to have to be. ^_^
I had quite a relaxing break. I caught up with some friends who are now in college, worked, got a laptop for Christmas, and relaxed. I haven't thought much about school, and I am glad for it. I NEEDED that break. I just hope I can keep it together next semester. Only five more months until graduation! Seems like we have finally done it! :)
Wow, this sounds so upbeat. Well, hopefully it will put you in a good mood. Good luck with this semester, Lela, Lily, and Paige! We can do this.
