New developments
I'm happy to report that I'm not composing this entry from one of XANA's towers. Instead I'm typing it from the computer lab at Kadic Academy, where I am currently enrolled as a student. Unfortunately Jeremie hasn't yet found the anti-virus to break my connection to XANA, but he did come up with a super-scanner program to monitor Lyoko for activated towers or anything else XANA might be up to. So now I don't have to stay on Lyoko anymore!
Being materialized all the time does have its drawbacks, though. The other students, except for my friends, probably think I'm a little weird. It hasn't helped that since I came here I've been having odd nightmares and visions. They started ever since we discovered the old Hermitage house in the woods near campus. Jeremie thinks that the owner, Franz Hopper, may have a connection to me and Lyoko since we found a secret passage leading to the factory.
This week has been a week of discoveries. Besides finding the Hermitage, there have been new developments on Lyoko. During one adventure we discovered that there is a fifth sector; it seems to be in the center of Lyoko and is difficult to get to. Jeremie calls it "Carthage". XANA has also created new monsters for us to battle, including one we call a "Skipizoa." I'm afraid of this one, because everytime we go up against it it captures me and uses its tentacles to scan my memory. It's obvious that I have some information that XANA wants, something that he can't find or get to through our link. Unfortunately I don't know what information that might be.
Well, I'd better wrap this up. I'm meeting the others down at the commons; Ulrich and Yumi are going to teach me some ways to defend myself against XANA's monsters. Until the next time!
