My brother is headlining Comedy Night at the Mirabeau Room July 5th. It's $5, doors at 8pm, show at 9ish. He's been part of the show (skits, short stand up sets, music, indie short movies, and a headliner) for months now, but this is his first headlining gig. Anybody interested ( Read more... )

hrm. maybe. there's probably going to be someone moving into my room aug 1st, and i'll bet my dad will want to leave as soon as we get the trailer loaded. i bet you i'll be leaving on the 31st actually. sigh. i'll hate to miss that though, when are you coming in?

well, we get in on july 29th, but we'll be at my dads that night. we might be able to gather the 30th? but if its just not possible for you than you'll just have to come to US! :)

i think the 30th would be easier... crazy but not impossible. i just have a feeling i'll be on the road the night of the 31st.

and your dad is in federal way right? that's not impossible either. my mom is in des moines and i'm sure she'll be clamoring for visits around that time.

i went to a dog park tuesday and there were a couple of scruffy-looking guys with even scruffier-looking dogs, and they were OBviously stoned. i almost busted out laughing when one of them stepped behind a tree and took a monster hit - oblivious to the other half of the dog park behind the tree (including myself). sigh.

is your job a summer gig or long term?

I would just like to ammend the order of events : coffee, then dog park, then beer. That sounds so great.
