the week that just was...
firstly huge huggles to the following people for wishing me a happy birthday: cheddarwaffle (and an extra special huggle for the super-cool photo thingy you did!)butterballs moggles arklan slayervixen and lastly dark_apple ...hmmm, yes, must get to know slayervixen and dark_apple, seeing as they thought I was worthy enough to rate happy birthday wishes.
secondly...awww, still makes me smile...you have to love my lil bro (who actually towers over me, but he'll always be my lil bro:)) )I saw him last night and he gave me mah b/day pressie... Legolas & Gimli figures on the white horse (axe and sword raised), A Nazgul on his horse, robes billowing behind him, and a climbing Gollum figurine. Aidan's such a cute bugger, who'd have thought! They're something I'd always wanted but could never bring myself to go and buy. awww. maybe it's just me, but I love getting pressies you never thought you'd get. I'm just not sure that I should open the packets...are these things s'posed to be collectors items or are they so mass produced that it's not going to matter anyway? I'll ring and ask him tonight, although he did say, "I thought they'd look cool on your computer". Aww, he's so sweet.
lastly, YAY for long weekends! I'm stoked, 'cause now I have every reason to get in and get Ian and Jordan to help and finally paint the study, make another bookcase for the oodles of books sitting in boxes in the study and make an easel for my painting (obviously) I'm excited! just look at all the !!!'s :p I've bought a sack-truck too, so moving the furniture should be a lot easier.
well, that's it, all my birthday dinners are over, I've seen all 3 families in a matter of a week and I'm looking forward to a bit of quiet now... urgh, PS - I have the hugest hangover from last night, but YAY for codiene and paracetamol too :p
