(no subject)
Well folks, we're going to the Bungle Bungles and Darwin for sure now. 3 weeks in total. Cool huh? I'm stoked anyway. We're staying in Broome for 3 nights, doing an overnight tour to Geikie Gorge, then jumping on an 11-day tour from Broome to Darwin, via the Bungles. It'd be nice to spend more than one day in the Bungles, but the tour doesn't allow it, however, nothing's set in stone yet, so you never know.
urgh! what a day! I'm really sick of my supervisor (you know, the one who basically does nothing all day except chat on the phone and pooter, and SMS all day ... oh, ok, he does 2 hours of solid work a day..whoopdy-do) He's been talking down to me again... ALL DAY! I'm sure you know the voice, that patronisingly sarcastic tone that just screams "jump out of your seat, push me down, stomp on my face a few times then kick me in the goollies"? yeah, that one! I am not a naughty little 10 year old and I don't deserve to be talked to as though I were. Fuckhead.
...anyway...
Ian's finally coming home tonight ...which is probably why I'd rather not be here today :))... I'm really only updating my journal for something to do until it's time to pick him up....'course I love you all, and love keeping you informed, it's just that I haven't really got anything interesting to tell at the mo'.

well, the lady I walk my dog with in the mornings is obviously lonely, because I mentioned (just for something to say) that I'd like to learn to knit. She immediately said I should come over to her house one night and she'd teach me. Her granddaughter who walks with us some mornings said she'd love to come too. oh goody! :-L I could hardly say no could I? so now I'm roped in. She's nice enough, and I'm sure she's not going to chop me into little bits and feed me to her dog, but I feel very uncomfortable about the whole thing. I was actually going to ask my Nanna to teach me. Oh well, that's what you get for being nice to old people. *note to self, don't be nice to old people* :p
well, hmm, leave you all to it I s'pose. dum de dum, only 15 minutes before I have to go, but I won't bore you with anymore daily drudgery, you've got enough of your own to deal with, I'm sure ;;) and if not, then lucky you! :D
