I'm pretty sure no one except maybe Brilliant Husband watches the same shows I do.
Doctor Who: The Doctor is Awesome in Every Incarnation and Didn't He Get a Great Companion Again? show. Yes, Russell Davies has made some bad calls--but honestly, I'm happy he brought it back and takes risks, and most of the things I see people complaining about just don't bother me that much. Maybe they should, but The Doctor is Awesome. I like all the new companions and nearly all from before they revived the show.
The Sarah Jane Adventures: The Doesn't Sarah Still Look Amazing and I Want to Look That Good When I'm 60! show. I looked up Elisabeth Sladen. She was born in 1948, folks. I'm also getting a huge dose of the Nostalgia Show and the Look! Small Child Likes It! Today SJA, Tomorrow DW! show.
Torchwood We will not speak of episode 2.13. I spent episodes 2.1-2.12 watching the Oh, the Team is Awesome and Jack and Ianto are Most Awesome of All But Tosh is Way Awesome Too and I Still Like Gwen and I Even Like Owen Now show. Yeah, that's way too long a title. But heck--I love the team as team (didn't get that much in s1, did we?), and this is the show that finally made me a slasher. Many have tried; none before had succeeded. (No, I still don't do porn, and I don't think anything will change that.)
Slings and Arrows The OhMyGosh Paul Gross is Still Brilliant and Beautiful and Oh Look! His Wife is Too! show, with some Boy, Aren't These People Crazy Show mixed in.
Stargate: Atlantis Oh, you mean the What the Heck Did They Do? This Was Briefly My Favorite Show! show. My unhappiness started at the end of season 2 (see my "Allies" rant), but I might have forgiven them "Allies" if they'd fixed things. I couldn't believe "Sunday" even though I knew it was coming. We will not speak of the end of s3, nor of several s4 episodes, nor of most of Teyla's s4 storyline. I think not even the little things they did to redeem themselves in a few episodes will ever allow this to be quite My Show again. I'm still watching.
Battlestar Galactica The I Quit Watching This Because They Killed One Character Too Many and I Hate Baltar Too Much show? I'm not watching this at all anymore, but I had to find some way to convey my distaste.
Heroes: The Hiro Nakamura Show? Can't wait for that to come back. I've had enough of the Peter Petrelli Show, which kept me happy first season, but turned into a joke second season; the Claire Bennet story (isn't that one of the sisters in Pride and Prejudice--no, I know, it's just a joke); the Adam story (good-looking, though); and please don't ever show me any more of the Sylar Show. Ever. I've had it. I've also had enough of the Kill off the Minority Characters Show.
BH reviewed my entry to be sure I wasn't forgetting anything (forgot Slings and Arrows briefly!) and said, "I suppose you're not going to do our shows that we LOVE but AREN'T ON ANY MORE!?" I think that would take too much space.
