I have very few happy thoughts, but I will say this, since you brought up the photo: I absolutely loved that it was a photo that we actually saw them take on the show, that El would have warm fuzzies about and would logically want to frame and keep! TV shows NEVER do that; even White Collar itself didn't a couple of weeks ago. I'm used to that kind of "photo" actually being a publicity still or, worse, a screencap from some episode (that one of Rodney and Carson in "Sunday" still jumps out at me as an appallingly bad example of that sort of thing). The fact that this was actually a photo that was taken in-show still makes my heart happy.

I should say that I'm not at all happy about the kidnapping. I think it's a cheap plot twist to draw out a storyline that should be wrapping up. Neal has made his choice, and he just has to let Mozzie split with the loot. He never stole it in the first place and actually saw it in person only briefly. As my husband points out, Moz could have moved it between Neal seeing it and Treasure Cam. I'd have been happy with that. Indeed, I kept forgetting my Keller forebodings and thinking they would wrap it up that way, that we'd see Moz leaving, and Neal would be out of his mess. (Yes, they could charge him as an accessory, but Neal really did not steal the treasure, nor did he sell any of it, smuggle it, or profit from it. I don't know that they'd have the evidence to charge him, nor that Peter would want to do so. I could well imagine they would offer him immunity for his knowledge, which would mean Mozzie couldn't come back, but they might be able to work out a deal everyone could accept.) Then I'd remember Keller, and that would diminish ( ... )

I'm still OMG over the kidnapping, but I'm sure Elizabeth will be okay. It really brings more angst for Peter and to the storyline in general.

INDEED.

Mozzie has colored me disappointed. Feel bad for the actor playing him as I have always loved Moz. Maybe getting shot changed him?

*Cries*

I think Keller grabbed more than he bargained for with El - she IS the wife of a paranoid Fed - and friends with two cons. Wonder if Moz will halt his plans to help out?

*hugs you*

I know; I feel so betrayed by Mozzie!

I think Moz would help Elizabeth if he knew, but I don't know if he'll find out. He has said goodbye to Neal. I doubt he left Neal a way to reach him.

I'm also of the belief that Elizabeth will be fine, hence I wasn't too upset over the kidnapping, even though I sort of saw it coming halfway through the episode. In fact, in some ways I sort of enjoyed that the whole thing with the stolen artwork and Neal keeping secrets reached such a low point that it ended with El's kidnapping. Which is the one event that should the end result not be 100% okay, Peter would never forgive Neal. I thought the episode before this showed finally that Neal keeping things close to his vest (not telling Mozzie about the manifest) actually worked against him, landing him in greater trouble that kept spiraling out of hand until this happened ( ... )
