A piece in today's Tampa Tribune (Walt Belcher's column, here) says that ABC executives are rumored to be watching tonight's ratings and next week's to decide whether to renew Pushing Daisies or not. Please watch!--especially if you are in a Neilsen family! (If you know someone who is, please persuade that person to watch! And all your other friends, too, just in case!)
I love this show. I don't want it to die! Their original order this season was for thirteen episodes, and the writers had hoped for a pick-up (for nine more, I think), so storylines will not be completed if it's canceled! Fuller is already talking about possibly finishing up in a comic book, and Kristin Chenoweth said here: "I can tell you that if it is the last one, I could see us coming out to do a movie or another two-hour special," she said. "I can see that happening, because to leave our audience hanging would be awful. I'm just beside myself."
