Our author finally got off her lazy butt and wrote a drabble for drabbles100. Then she realized that she hasn't requested a tag for it on the community yet, so she can't even post it there yet. Way to go, Ael.
So anyway, here's the drabble for now.

The first night after he returned to Earth, Jack took him home, got him drunk, and listened to him talk about Sha're. He vaguely remembered crying a bit, muttering some lousy excuse about allergies, and feeling someone's arms around him.
When he woke up, he was alone, but Jack had set his glasses on a side table and covered him with a blanket. He stumbled to the kitchen, embarrassed and half-expecting the older man to deride him for his actions the night before, but all Jack did was ask if he wanted pancakes, and that was the end of it.
