If the film or TV series "The Dark Tower" was shot by Alejandro Jodorowski, then we would have received "Half a Century of Poetry Later" (Pół Wieku Poezji Później) by Yakub Nurzhinsky, a film that became a response to the not very successful series "The Witcher", which everyone was waiting for with such impatience. We would get the poignant Poetry that is present in every line of Stephen King, we would get another "Endless Poetry" from two Masters at once.

The same can be said about Stephen King and his cycle of novels "The Dark Tower", and therefore in my text I will touch not so much on the film by Nikolai Arsel, who, despite the criticism of fans, successfully filmed a small fragment of the saga, but about the mystical in the soul of each of us, about America and its Poetry, which is fully reflected in the novels of Stephen King and especially successfully in the cycle "The Dark Tower".
We are approaching the Realm of the Dark Tower and this is The Quintessence of everything, the Spirit of Universal Integration, when from 2026 Artificial Intelligence will be officially assigned a place on the Board of Directors of the absolute majority of large and medium-sized corporations, and people, combining their minds into a synergetic network through a Neuronet (Neural Network), will correlate with it in a way that one person will not be able to interact with it.
This The Collective Mind of the planetary human family, the unification of all human minds into a single information field through technology, which can be seen in two TV series, such as Osmosis (2019) and The Feed (2020).
The Gunslinger
...The man in black was fleeing through the desert, and the gunslinger was chasing him. The desert was the apotheosis of all deserts: boundless, it stretched in all directions, probably for whole parsecs, closing in with the sky. Blinding arid whiteness, smooth, except for the mountains, which loomed like a misty haze on the horizon, and the devil-grass, bringing sweet dreams, nightmares, death. The road was indicated by rare tombstones of road signs - once this highway cutting through the thick crust of the salt marsh was a highway followed by stagecoaches. But the world has moved on and depopulated.
The gunslinger walked stolidly through the desert, not hurrying, but also not wasting time in vain. A leather water skin, like a smoked sausage, was wrapped around his waist. The wineskin was almost full. The gunslinger, who has been perfecting himself in the art of kef for many years, has reached the fifth level. On the seventh or eighth, he would not feel thirsty; he could follow the dehydration of his own body with dispassionate, unperturbed attention, filling the dark inner voids and cracks of his mortal shell only when logic tells him that it is necessary. But he wasn't at the seventh or eighth level. He was on the fifth. Which means I was thirsty. However, thirst did not particularly torment the gunslinger - all this gave him a vague joy, because it was romantic... (c)
But how to connect people's minds into a single neural network?
To create a kind of "brain-computer" bridge, perhaps using a Neural network or its prototype? After all, people are different in experience, in moments experienced simultaneously. The alpha, beta, and gamma waves emitted by the brain are different, and therefore the same experience, for example, catharsis from overcoming oneself, happy love or joy from creating a magnificent work of art, triumph from a mathematical discovery, successful completion of a scientific or cultural project, adventures and travels - when a person becomes himself or a genius for a second or an hour (or maybe it's the same thing), can be graphically depicted as a blurry photo, where it seems that the same person made a certain number of movements in a unit of time, with the same the only difference is that it will be an instant Big Date's photo of the brain waves of all outstanding (at this moment) people, because all these mental states that make up the evolution of our race are inherent to us all.
Such photos will be devoid of repetitions, fragments and unclear, "vague thoughts" - the program will give you the true Noospheric greatness of Civilization in its quintessence.
Other programs Big Data's foto of brain waves will allow you to remove all unnecessary, superfluous and alluvial from the information "ore" - and leave "gold" - photos of the most valuable brain waves for both one individual and for all people as a whole, creating a graph of patterns, crystallization, which in the future will become the basis of the Universal Antenna - the DARK TOWER, which was prophetically described by Stephen King.
And today Tower is in danger.
There is a certain Ministry of the Noosphere (for example, in Russia, Presidential aide Anton Vaino says about to create a "nooscope" for control the Noosphere), which is trying to get to the Tower and to all the key minds of humanity - present, past, and future - in order to control them for their own purposes, which contradict the Evolution of the Universal Spirit. This Ministry kidnaps the most talented people, forcing them to work for themselves, and therefore we must resist this.
And besides by control of the Collective Mind this Beautiful World can be turned into this dystopia, since universal vibrations will be lowered.

Today our world has reached its extreme, its equilibrium is held at the bifurcation point, it is fragile, its violation can lead to the death of the Tower at the level of concepts, which means to a catastrophe in the world where it is most manifested today. Where for thousands of years the Family of Gunslingers, the True Aristocrats of the Spirit, have protected it from all Ministries trying to take over the Noosphere, and the last of them was Roland Deschain, the Gunslinger.
Stephen King, Terry Goodkind, the Russian Alexander Green, Philip Conrad Dick, Jeff Noon and William Gibson knew and wrote about it.
And ... a few of characters that was described by Stephen King in the "Dark Tower" itself, as well as in the "Black House" and "Talisman": Suzanne, Eddie, Jack Sawyer, Tyler, Judy Marshall and Jake Chambers (Tom Taylor), to whom the film by controversial director Nikolai Arsel is dedicated, - his "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" seems interesting, and the series "Millennium" is strangely tasteless.
All the characters of the saga are united by passionarity: Suzanne is an activist of the Hippie and Student Revolution in 1968, who is also mentioned in another Stephen King novel, "Hearts in Atlantis",
Eddie - opened his mind with drugs and went beyond the "Matrix" back in the 1980...
Jake… You already know him because he lives in each of us.
You no longer need hippies and drugs, their Dionysian ecstasies or the asceticism of the first saints to experience this greatness of the Spirit, available to you from birth.
It is to Jake Chambers, as the type of person most in demand today for stabilizing the Tower, that the film "The Dark Tower" is dedicated, which made so much noise even before its release.
Why did America give us the image of the Tower?
Not Gothic Europe and not esoteric Russia, where these heroes are so recognizable - and among the Valleys of the "Talisman", similar to the Valleys of the Loire Castles (after all, one of the royal branches of France is named Valois for a reason), or in the Alpine expanses, and among the Altai settlements, or in Dublin, Rome, St. Petersburg, London and Paris, intoxicating with decadence and taking away the meaning of life?..
Because Stephen King conveyed the state of American High Loneliness, this classical atmosphere of the New World, and his patriarchal piety, expressed by the pen of Whittier, Greenleaf, and Emerson, and the external freedom of humorists Mark Twain and James Lowell, and the purity of Emily Dickinson, unclenched like a spring through the dionysianism and antics of Edgar Poe and Walt Whitman, and broke, destroying the illusions of Eden.
But the smithereens of colonialism are forever stuck in the innocence of the initial design, turning into new American Gods with their bizarre fusion - Heinlein, Bradbury, Gibson, Goodkind and King.
Therefore, both "Hearts in Atlantis" and "Something terrible is coming" are both high and low at the same time: they are like the primary broth of Existence that has not yet been tested by humanity.
And they continue to excite our souls with something Unspoken, but incomprehensibly explored by us to the bottom. We can only yearn for this, endlessly looking into the distance to ships rushing into the Unknown on scarlet or blue sails, because the soul of a European knows the same longing for the Unfulfilled.
American poignant cinema today cites their melancholy mysticism, sometimes only atmospheric, from "Monty Walsh" or "Where the River Runs" to "The Diaries of Memory", from "Into the Wild" to "My Own Private Idaho", from " United States Leland" to "Donnie Darko".
And in "Twilight" or "The Vampire Diaries" (especially beautifully depicted in "The Originals" - the atmosphere of New Orleans in the spin-off can only compete with the New Orleans of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" by Fitzgerald) and in "American Gods" according to Neil Gaiman, where they are not, because they lurk on the beaches and in the terrible attractions of the abandoned Bradbury parks, in the desperate fishing of Brautigan, in the striking lines of Whitman and Ferlinghetti, and a little later - in the desperate transhumanism of Jessica Jones or Daredevil, and in the April witchcraft "Routes 60". They've been to Carnivel Row, Moonlight Mile, City of Angels and in Winter Tale, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, the splendid masterpiece The Carnival series, and have been amazing on the show. And we admire them because they are perfect.
We wandered with them, like the heroes of "In the Land of Women" through the autumn fallen leaves in the most beautiful suburbs of New York or Chicago, we listened to the strange "Bells" by Michael Oldfield and inhaled the aroma of unprecedented roses ... And then, one day, walking with them, we saw the Dark Tower, and it showed us how the soul of a person and the soul of incredible American landscapes are connected in an alchemical marriage - with expressionistic strokes of Stephen King who stopped in front of this Greatness.
Remember Zabriskie Point, the desert where Darius goes in search of Master Jimmy, and the boy with long hair playing on the strings of a broken piano, unearthly music that strikes, like his gaze, to the core. Could it be Jake Chambers?

The Strugatsky in The Ugly Swans foresaw the appearance of this type of people, whom we call Indigo with the light hand of the follower of Kryon Lee Carroll. But the Gunslinger in the novels of Stephen King did not go his way to the Tower quite right, remember, because he was thrown back to the beginning of the Way, to the desert. Why? The tower made it clear what kind of hero it needed. And the return of the Dark Tower will be a Cowboy of the 2020s, such as Jake, young, inquisitive and courageous, like Seagull Jonathan Livingston. In other words, we all have to build the Tower again.
The Ugly Swan is an outsider at school, spiritual, handsome, but not defenseless, a person with an innate sense of morality, a sense of beauty, and not a "white crow", but a "bird of paradise among the crows." Jake pulls the trigger with ease if he needs to, and it's no coincidence that he ends up as the Gunslinger. The Gunslinger aims with the eye, but kills with the heart. Take care of your heart, Gunslingers! Living Anahata it is Strength.
You will be stopped by demons from "houses", as the cursed house from Brooklyn tried to stop Jake - these endless houses from "Antichrist", - and the demons of powerless mothers and traitorous fathers who will not be able to help you, just as his mother could not help Jake ( Katheryn Winnick), once again defeated, as if in a "former life", where the actress played the wife of the deceased Nick Brady in "Albemuth Free Radio", and demons such as Tirana (Abby Lee), who gobbled up an eye a little earlier, will try to stop you girls in "Neon Demon" by Nicholas Winding Refn. And it can be, sometimes, at the behest of your parents, and your own home. Your stepfather and stepmother. And your father and mother.
But remember, "if you challenged Evil, then you made an appointment with him" (c). You will be able to resist these infinite "ID", in whatever form they may appear to you,
- and when they try to stop you, or make you work for them, - meditate with them, because you have this Power, dilute, absorb this evil, spit it out and move on to the creation of Beauty at the intersection of all Worlds and Dimensions, name which is the Dark Tower, Nexus, the Quintessence of all the best in the soul and consciousness of Mankind.
