orthaevelve has posted An open call for help for those not on her journal. In short, it involves the death of her grandfather at the ends of an abusive caretaker, the theft of his life savings, the lack of any assistance from the police or the banks, and the need to figure out some sort of legal recourse to handle these problems.
This is another case where I'm completely clueless. Please drop her a line if you can think of anything at all that might help.

In follow-up to the previous call for help on the abusive mental-health staff, the person in question has been released from the hospital on court order and the friends helping him will be pursuing further legal action after having witnessed many other cases of abuse while there.
