I really hate plastic shoes (have you seen the Crocs that are the latest trend? They're positively nasty) but those shoes and in that color are unfortunately cute. I give you my blessing. Go buy them.

Ugh.. yeah. I had forgotten about those. Crocs are pretty bad... I bet if it wasn't for the supposed comfort factor, no one would buy them, but I can't speak for all the crazies ;D

I'll take pictures in these if they end up being in stock!

p.s. sort've offtopic, but are lucky jeans a true fit? I was looking around on eBay and found some for half off new with tags, but don't want to consider them if there's no way to know for sure. I measured my current jeans and it seems I'd fit a size 26/2, but yeah... this may be a moot point if someone else bids on them at the last minute (like I'm considering doing... heh), but for future reference.

depends on the style. i have the maggies in a 26 and they fit so perfectly and comfortably that i bought 2 pairs. i practically live in them. but i remember when we tried jeans on at the store, mom fit in a 25 in a different style. granted, she has a smaller waist than me, but her hips are definitely bigger. (it was some relaxed fit style). so keep that in mind, but you'll probably fit just right in the 26 as long as it's not a baggier style.

Yeah, it's hard to tell on eBay since they all look rather 'eh'... on the lucky brand website, it's easier to tell how they'd fit, so I was going based on those photos.

I did find out there's a lucky brand store near the mall o_O
...but I doubt I'll make it there before the end of this auction (it's been raining... mom hates the rain :P) + probably once I'm in the store I'd be too tempted to buy them right then, but yeah, this is all good to know.

I noticed the diff. in waist sizes amongst the styles. I found the lil' maggie and it almost seemed like it'd be too small in the waist. my current jeans measure 14.5 across the waist flat and those, according to one seller, are 12.5 across.
The ones I was looking at are the lola bootleg.. what inseam do yours have? I saw they can be gotten in a short version (29.5), but all the ones on eBay are between 31-34.

honestly i think the maggies would fit you (because there is no way you wear bigger jeans than me) but i don't think they're the kind of style you go for. the waist is a little lower than you like and it fits snug so no belt is needed.

you absolutely need the short version. the short version fits just right with high heeled boots but needs to be curled up in the back if i wear flip flops. since your legs are a little longer it will probably fit you perfectly.

Yeah, possibly... I mean, I usually wear a belt, so the width in the waist isn't that accurate.. heh.

...and I figured so. sadly the ones I was waiting on are a 31" inseam.. I guess I could hem them, but yeah. maybe I should just wait since the jeans aren't a super deal.. they're still $59.99 if no one bids.

When I looked for any with a short version just now, the lil' maggies were up NWT for $4.25 thus far, but I bet they'll go up by the end: here

There was also a Sweet Dreams one with the short length, but that one had a weird ugly flower on the pockets :P

Maybe I'll just hold off. thanks for answering my questions!

I was going to tell you to go ahead and just bid on the maggies but WTH?! Those don't look like my jeans. The maggies I have are really dark and have that vintage/broken in feel and look. They are seriously the softest, most comfortable jeans ever. And yet, they are made of thick, real denim and not that pseudo-denim that so many "jeans" seem to be made of anymore. And they cost somewhere between $110-120 a pair. I forget the exact number but it's certainly not the $98 the seller claimed... plus, the jeans in the photo look kinda wide at the bottom. maggies have a slight flair. more than a bootcut but not bell-bottomy.

here's what they should look like:

Yeaaah... I'm starting to think some of these listings aren't authentic and / or scams. at least the ones that start out super cheap. also, I noticed one person was selling lucky jeans for $16 saying they no longer needed them since they were 'with baby' and they had the same jeans listed a few billion times... it almost makes me wonder if the story is fake. even if not, I have seen some people list things like computers saying they got a desktop thus no longer needed the laptop yet the same story appeared in a few listings... having more than one laptop of the same type to get rid of made me think they stole them from the back of a truck :P ( ... )
