GUYS. There are so many things to like about this show, like the characters, the worldbuilding, the absolutely awesomely amazing animation and art, the character arcs, the humor. There may be occasional dark spots (pacing in some episodes, series' wobbliness at consistent characterization for certain situations, tendency in the first season to use sexism as humor), but the series. is. worth it. like as in I honestly cannot for the life of me figure out why the hell this hasn't caught on more in the US worth it. There is one episode left in season 2, and all I can think is "YUGO. YUGO YOU MY BEST BEST PAL ILU SO GO GET EM AND BEAT THEIR PANTS OFF FOR NOT BEING AS GOOD AND JUST AND ADORABLY MORAL AS YOU."
Now I'm going to go find someone who loves this show and make them squee with me. At knifepoint if necessary.
