Back in the saddle
Finally got back horse riding today after just over 8 months off from the broken leg. PeeJay was a real arse in the stable which had me a bit nervous, but as usual once on and going he instantly calmed down. Was only out a short time with Simon walking with me. PeeJay was pretty good most of the time, but did decide that a rock might have monsters hiding under it. A yappy dog out loose that I thought might chase us was of course to him not scarey (I do wonder what goes on in their heads sometimes). Walked most of the way but did have a little trot, then another trot under some branches I needed to lean forwards to get under, I need to work on this again as I'd almost stopped this behaviour!
We were going to take one of the shetlands for a walk, but his supposedly sickly companion shetland decided to run around too much and get wound up. Conker the one we were going to take then tanked off around the cow field but fortunatley he's lazy so was soon caught. He needed some exercise anyway so rather than a walk he got to tank around like an idiot for a while!
When we got back and I was poo picking the field Neo decided to have a good roll in the sunshine and Simon managed to get a few pics. Here's my favourite!
