My first flight!
My first day of flight training today was AWESOME. OMG, I can't describe how amazing the feeling was. Soaring through the sky towards the stars and then diving back to the ground at the speed of sound. The instructor only let me take the controls for like 5 minutes, but I was amazed at how smooth and responsive the mecha was. It was over so soon, but I'll be able to go up tomorrow AND Saturday since I have time to make up from my missed days this week. It's times like these that the War seems so far away, I had completely forgotten why I'm here.
I was so exhausted from the intense experience that I just went back to the dorms after classes today instead of meeting up with Riki. And I can't believe I almost to mention the girl! (I saw her again today at lunch). I still don't know her name, but I think this guy in my class knows her. I'll write about her later. Right now I'm gonna take a nap now before dinner and dream about my day. :)
