Also, that title is not my fault or my idea. Nino said it first. Of his cake, not the love between men bit, but what else am I supposed to think when he dedicates another birthday cake to MatsuKen?
Really, I am kind of in love with how Nino seems to like to shower his affection on MatsuKen (MATSUKEN ♥) with homemade cakes. (As an aside: I'm not terribly partial to cakes in general, but this actually sounds really good: a 7-layer, 50cm-30kg monstrosity coated with dark chocolate - which is my weakness - with strawberries and cream filling. The declaration of love on the side facing MatsuKen with the Alice-in-Wonderland-esque "Please Eat Me" instructions just makes me want to... I don't know what it makes me want to do, actually, but I was really tickled.) Given the sometimes-startling resemblance I think Nino and MatsuKen bear to each other I may just die if they turn out to be as good friends as Nino is with Shun.
(I have this really excellent image in my head where Shun rings Nino up as soon as his photoshoot is over to whine about Nino having never shown his love for Shun with cakes, much less multiple ones, and Nino responding by sending him the burnt trial-cake slathered with the leftover cocoa.)
(Underneath the burnt trial-cake is a hidden layer where he'd made a tiny pureed-chestnut angel cake sandwiched with the rest of the fresh strawberries, and Shun only finds it because Nino had played the same trick on him for his birthday present with a jelly dildo and porn mags. [Yuu-chan had laughed like a maniac and then looked entirely too thoughtfully at the dildo.])
(Shun does not at all crash Nino's apartment a while later with a lot of booze and porn and the intention to smother him with his affection for the night. And if anybody asks, Nino totally protested with his whole being.)
(And then Shun will demand to be introduced to MatsuKen and MatsuKen will be charmingly bewildered and sort-of-not-really overwhelmed by the force that is Oguri Shun. And somewhere along the way Jun will get dragged along for the ride.)
