Yesterday all of my computer parts came in, and I was finally able to put my rig together. Pretty beastly.

Motherboard: Asus M4A89GTD Pro
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955@3.2GHz
RAM: G.Skill Sniper DDR3 1600, 2x4GB
PSU: Corsair 650W Enthusiast Series
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue, 500GB/7200RPM/16MB Cache
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 5770
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium(yeah yeah =P)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912

Overall pretty good. The whole setup cost around $800 total. I am planning on getting two new monitors, one more of the same video card for crossfire setup, and maybe another hard drive and setting up a raid(maybe not, I'm feeling kinda lazy about that part.) I've only played League of Legends on it so far and the difference between playing it on the new tower and my old laptop is night and day. Even though it's only a 5770 it defaults to high settings all around, and the effects were really highlighted for me since I'm used to playing at low settings, and at lower resolution. Not sure what other games I'm going/like to throw at it, but the setup seems good.

The total time of construction, from prepping the case to getting the final update for Windows was roughly 6 hours, which is actually pretty decent. Windows 7 has been the most user-friendly OS from Microsoft that I've installed so far. It handles a lot of the drivers that are on the machine and you pretty much only have to restart two to three times before everything is set, and then you just have to install the programs that you want. It's been really smooth and I'm glad it went well for the first build that I've done by myself.
