With apologies to Lewis Carroll

In corners they gathered, in tables they stood,
With three of the foxes, who were mostly good,
And a celebration here would be all that they need,
So into the madness, White Viscous did lead:

"Through miles and hours, Grey Aegis declared:
'We've cast internets, let's see what's ensnared!
Set sail through the suburbs, and stroll down the sea,
And dine with the White Fox, the Red Fox, and me!' "

Now he'd not said a word, but the rabble did rise,
From castles and crevices to join in surprise
They drew quite a rancor as they drew quite a crowd,
And without knowing the words, they all sang aloud:

"So drive off the dragons and hold down the plate!
A party is wanted, it's one we'll create!
Hold your head in the gutters, keep your eyes wide aloft,
And celebrate with foxes, so fluffy and soft!"

Poor Aegis looked dismal, and quite to dismay,
Not quite sure when all these things went away,
When the red fox stepped forward, and uttered a tone,
And sang a verse to a name that was quite not his own.

"To all audiences, White Viscous did say;
'Combust your concerns and curse them away!
If nowhere is out there where else should you be?
Then dine with the Red Fox, the Grey Fox, and me!' "

The crowd wept for hours and applauded for days,
They cried for an encore and they cried for entrees.
They spun out their voices and made a monsoon,
As they composed a verse with each voice out of tune:

"So we'll dance in the damp, and worry the waste,
Then bring out the banter and have it with haste!
Let's pummel the pudding and wrangle the wine,
And foxes for all, for ninety times nine!"

To all this the grey one had silently stayed
Not sure what to make of the game that was played.
But one rule remains when in madness you dwell,
and with a sigh and a pitch, he went, "what the hell..."

"So all across acres, Red Genji did claim:
'My mind I have spoken, so see that it's sane!
To cannons, and fandoms, and obscurity!
Just dine with the White Fox, the Grey fox, and me!"

"So we'll hollow the heartless and drag out our dreams,
All the wishbones and walnuts are covered in cream,
We've got feasting for thought, we've got cake for the wall,
so join us in toasting, with foxes for all!"

So sufficiently random, the crowd did agree,
to partake in the gladness that was flowing free.
And the rejoicing went onward, and the joy went about.

- So yes, it's my birthday. If you haven't figured that out.

And while this bit of silliness I hoped to illustrate,
I'm stuck doing without - I'm running quite late.
So I'll apologize to you all if this came off quite droll
- and to the writer above, whose prose style I stole.

So art there shall be, but just not for tonight.
For today has only been mostly alright.
So more work for later. And things to promise.
I'll have stuff to show soon.

....Unless things go amiss.

And with that out of the way, I'll get to the point. You guys are all awesome. All of you.
The friends I have are easily the best gift I could get. Now go have some cake.
